About Koru Women
Meet Jo
Like many women, menopause left me feeling unlike myself. I experienced unexpected weight gain, anxiety and low confidence, and knew something needed to change.
That journey led me to learn everything I could about women's health, menopause, nutrition and mindset. Through small, meaningful lifestyle changes, I discovered it was possible to feel more energised, confident and like myself again.
Today, I use that personal experience alongside my coaching to help other women navigate midlife with practical, sustainable support.
Experience
Before setting up Koru Women, I spent more than 20 years working in sales and media, gaining a wealth of experience working with people, understanding their stories and communicating with confidence and empathy.
For the past three years, I have also been a trustee of The Sunrise Appeal, a Cornish charity raising vital funds for the Sunrise Centre. This has given me an even greater appreciation of the importance of good health and supporting people through different stages of life.
Why Koru?
Koru Women was created to support women over 40 in building healthier habits and making lasting lifestyle changes that improve their wellbeing.
The word Koru comes from New Zealand's Māori culture and describes the unfurling silver fern, symbolising growth, renewal and new beginnings. It reflects my belief that it's never too late to embrace positive change, feel more like yourself again and thrive.
My Approach

Nourish your body without restrictive diets
Feel more like yourself again
